Emily Salisbury (she/her) received her BS in music therapy from Utah State University and is the owner of Segue Expressive Therapies. She has worked in a variety of settings, but specializes in hospice work. Emily completed the Hospice and Palliative Care Music Therapy (HPMT) certificate under the direction of Russell Hilliard in 2023.  She is actively involved in efforts to secure state licensure and state reimbursement of music therapy services alongside the Utah Association of Music Therapists.  

Emily’s focus with music therapy centers on interpersonal connection, emotional healing and promoting expression through music. Her main goal as a music therapist is to ignite creativity, mindfulness, and emotional integration in her clients. Emily re-energizes through snuggles and playtime with her three awesome kiddos, and would probably join you for a coffee any time of the day!
